Planned by the Guided Discovery classes, the Seven Days Challenge is our school’s effort to replace hate with love.It also marks the second anniversary of the tragedy at the Jewish Community Center.
To bring awareness to the issues, LMS students participated in a number of activities where we tried to go beyond ourselves and think about others. Here’s the breakdown of the week’s activities.
- Tuesday- Wear the color red to demonstrate the power of love!
- Wednesday- Wear White for Reat Underwood!
- Thursday- Support your friends! Wear the sports jersey of a friend or a team you may not support.
- Friday- Connect with others! During this day take time to take photos with your class and of your friends.
Students worked to remember to uplift others and spread love and kindness. One student, ChaniereB made a fabulous new shirt from the button messages from the week.
